Sisältö: Software project demands 200-350 hours of work per project member in three to four months period. This means that each student should reserve for the project at least 15-20 hours weekly. The project group consists of two to four students. There can be at most eight project groups during a term.

Sisältö: Students who study information technology as a minor have to include in their studies at least 3 cr (6 ECTS cr) of software assignments. A student starting the Software Assignments should have at least half of the courses in subject studies completed. The topic of the assignment should be accepted beforehand by the advisor. Sisältö: A short written assignment. Topics are based on courses in subject studies and are assigned by lecturers. Assistant Professor Timo Männikkö coordinates the supervision of Bachelor's theses. Sisältö: Major studies of information technology involve practical training. Working in computer related tasks for three months completes the practical training. Convenient timing for the practical training is when most of the subject studies in information technology is completed. Aikataulu: Around whole season. Beginning lectures kept four times in season. Always on Mondays at 16.15. in room Ag C331.1, on weeks 38 and 43 in autumn semester and on weeks 3 and 10 in spring semester. Sisältö: Independent measurements about 120 hours. Course includes various measurements of telecommunications basic elements, like modulations, parity checkings ja radio techniques.
